My first works created for this project are paintings on rocks. I enjoy walking through nature to find objects of inspiration. I hold the rocks in my hand to see how they feel in the curved shape of my closed palm. The natural shapes and various textures of rocks make an engaging medium. Please be inspired and go searching for your own rocks and allow the creative impulses to flow from you onto the rock. It is a kind of collaboration between you and your found object. Enjoy my rocks if you are lucky enough to get one in the Canned Art project.
